Give Me Life

This work is titled "Give Me Life." It is the final project that I did for my Intermediate Photoshop class in the fall semester of 2021. The medium is digital painting and collage, and the size is 20"x16". I scanned in the flowers located on the figure and the leaves that make up mountains, and then used my own images to create the background and lake. I wanted to portray a person made of rock drinking the life out of a lake. The purpose was to show that she was lifeless, like a rock, and needed to take the life out of the world so that she could come back to life, which is what the flowers and cracks symbolize. I also entered this piece into the IU South Bend Student Art Exhibition of Spring 2022
